Drunk App



Reflection Questions:

1.  Reflect on the creative process you used. What was useful? Discuss your reflection with your partner and then write a reflection individually. 

• First we brainstormed, to get all of our idea on paper. this was helpful because it allowed us to have many option when choosing an app to create
• Secondly we chose a game and wrote down things we wanted the app to do. this helped us to organize and know what the final result of the app should be.

2.      Reflect on the team dynamic. What helped the team work well together? Discuss your reflection with your partner and then write a reflection individually.
Instead of dividing the work between each of the group members to have different tasks, we put our minds all together and work on one computer to build the app. I think this was the most effective way we could have work together because this was a complicated app that we could do on our own. A few days our group was not complete because of absences which therefore majorly delayed our project.

3.  What Problem was your APP attempting to solve?  How well does it?

Our app was designed to stop drunk driving by notifying people how drunk they are.

4.  Describe the two hardest challenges you experienced when coding this app.  How did you overcome them.  Post a screen shot of these sections of code, and explain them.

 One challenge we faced was dealing with the equation of blood alcohol concentration (BAC). There are so many variables that goes into this equation that makes it complicated. With the time-span we were given really gave us trouble.  However, to overcome our troubles we decided to only put the necessary variables our app needed to work





Another challenge was the familiarity with this software. We did not how to do certain thing which made us unsure and doubt the completion of the app. one thing we did not understand were how use a clock in our program.  Mr. Palmer played a big part in finishing our app because he helped us to understand and   implement the timer in our app.

5.  Given more time how could you improve your game

If given more time we could actually make our app official. Our app is still having problems with the equation( finding BAC) and have more variables such various alcohol concentrations for Different type of drinks.
